Here are three factors that caused slavery to grow in Africa:

Slavery had existed in Africa for hundreds of years, especially in the Middle East. Europeans expanded this already existing slave trade.

Tribal and other wars were a major cause of the growth of slavery in Africa. After these wars, the soldiers from the losing side were taken prisoner and sold into slavery.

Europeans needed cheap labor to work their land in the Americas.

1) The other developing countries like the Americas, were growing and they traded items like guns to Africa for slaves, eventually, this became a competition
2)Another factor is that the Africans themselves have use slaves themselves in a fair way and it just sparked them to use them
3) Becuase of this demand, Africa was eventually built on the slaves

All this happened because of trading

Answer:

D. The transition from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution.

Explanation:

The agreement between thirteen states of USA and served as its first constitution is called Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union, its purpose was to maintain the sovereignty and independence of the states. But in the structure of government created by the Articles gave only limited power to the central government (Continental Congress), only those powers which that colonies recognised as belonging to the king and the parliament.

Hence the central government could not enforce laws and if a state didn't support the law they could simply ignore it. It also didn't have power to regulate trade or collect taxes. Hence to get rid of all these weaknesses and revise the Articles  Constitutional Convention met at the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia on May 25, 1787 and finished the completed the new constitution on September 17, 1787.
